SMBs report being almost as likely to have a Facebook page as they are to have their own website, details BIA/Kelsey in newly-released data from Wave 17 of its “Local Commerce Monitor.” The survey results indicate that 54% of SMBs currently have a business page on Facebook, while 60% have a website. Facebook recently reported [pdf] in its Q3 earnings release that 20 million small businesses around the world have pages, although only about 1 million are advertising. (more…)
